Atsushi est un ancien capitaine de l’équipe de football du lycée Kakegawa. Il est aussi mondialement connu comme étant le « capitaine courageux » d’une célèbre équipe de football italienne.
De son côté, Hideto est un simple élève du lycée de Kakegawa qui ne semble pas s’intéresser à l’équipe de football qui est désormais en déclin…
Cependant, leur rencontre est le début d’une nouvelle légende.
